Charging Head Network has obtained a power adapter from Huawei . This power adapter has a black square casing and a simple shape. The adapter adopts eight-character input line and is suitable for use with power cords of different lengths. The adapter comes with a 1.5 meter long power cord, the output is a DC interface, the output voltage is 24V, the current is 2.71A, and the output power is 65W . Let’s dismantle Huawei’s power adapter and take a look at the internal design.
Huawei 65W power adapter appearance
Huawei’s 65W power adapter comes with a DC output cable, and the input power cord and the body adopt a separate line design. Since the adapter supports wide voltage input, this design can be used in many areas by simply replacing power cords of different specifications.
The adapter is in the shape of a flat rectangular parallelepiped. The frosted outer shell can effectively resist fingerprints. The HUAWEI brand is designed on the front of the fuselage.
The adapter specifications and certification information are printed on the back.

The other end of the cable is connected to the fuselage with a rubber sleeve to protect it from bending.
The cable terminal adopts a 90° bending design to facilitate plugging and unplugging in tight corners.
The measured length of the Huawei 65W power adapter is 84.04mm.
Width is 70.95mm.
Thickness is 30.64mm.
The cable length is approximately 152.5cm.
The size of the adapter in your hand is intuitive.
In addition, it was measured that Huawei’s 65W power adapter weighs approximately 264g.
Disassembly of Huawei 65W power adapter

First, disassemble the charger shell along the seam of the input side shell.
Inputs are connected via wire soldering.
The wires are soldered to the input socket.
At a glance inside the case, the PCBA module is entirely wrapped with heat sinks.
Pull out the internal PCBA module, wrap the yellow tape around the heat sink and press it.
The output leads are connected by soldering.
The back of the PCBA module is also covered with heat sinks and insulated by Mylar sheets.
The heat sinks are fixed with buckles.
The length of the PCBA module measured using a vernier caliper is approximately 66mm.
PCBA module width is approximately 67mm.
The PCBA module thickness is approximately 25.8mm.
Remove the heat sink covering the surface of the PCBA module, and attach a thermal pad to the back of the corresponding PCBA module.
At a glance from the front of the PCBA module, the upper right corner is the AC input terminal, with the varistor and fuse welded, and the NTC thermistor, safety X2 capacitor and common mode inductor are welded below. Both the primary switch tube and the output rectifier tube are equipped with heat sinks. Weld the rectifier and filter capacitor on the top of the transformer, and weld two Y capacitors and high-voltage filter capacitor on the right side.
The primary main control chip and feedback optocoupler are soldered on the back of the PCBA module. The output voltage is fed back through the optocoupler and the output voltage is fixed.
The input fuse is from Better Electronics, the part number is 932, and the specification is 3.15A 250V.
The varistor and thermal fuse are connected in series and fixed with heat shrink tube for overvoltage surge protection.
The thermal fuse is from Celtic and has an operating temperature of 150°C.
The varistor is from Celtic, model SFV10D561KT.
The NTC thermistor is from Jiuyin, model 10S2R5M.
The safety X2 capacitor comes from Yimanfeng, and the specification is 0.47μF.
The bottom of the common mode inductor is pasted with bakelite insulation.
The rectifier bridge and switching tube are fixed on a heat sink.
The rectifier bridge silk screen is covered with glue.
The high voltage filter capacitors are from Aihua.
Specification is 450V120μF.
103 ceramic capacitors are connected in parallel with high voltage filter capacitors.
The primary main control chip is screen-printed Tit and packaged in SOT23.
The filter capacitor that supplies power to the main control chip comes from Aihua, with a specification of 50V10μF.
The primary switch tube is from Toshiba, model TK13A65U. It is an NMOS with a voltage resistance of 650V, a conduction resistance of 320mΩ, and a TO220F package.
Three 1Ω resistors and one 1.2Ω resistor are used to detect the primary current.
The transformer is tightly insulated with tape.
Everlight EL1019 optocoupler is used for output voltage feedback.
Safety X2 capacitors are from Nanfang Hongming. Two of them are connected in series to improve the voltage level.
The output rectifier tube is fixed on the heat sink with screws.
