Zhirong’s SW3516P and SW3537 are utilized in Green United’s Q Pai robot GaN charger.
Green United has launched a new Q Pai robot GaN charger, which integrates expressive elements into the charger’s shell design and comes with three cute expressions to visually understand the charger’s output status. The charger features a 2C1A interface and has a total output power of 65W. The USB-C1 interface supports 65W fast charging, while the USB-C2 interface supports 30W fast charging, and the USB-A port supports 22.5W fast charging. It also features a power auto-distribution function that can meet the charging needs of laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. Recently, we discovered during disassembly that this charger is equipped with two chips from Zhirong Technology: SW3516P and SW3537.
Green Union 65W GaN Charger
In the factory default state, the robot screen is protected by a scratch-resistant protective film, which features carefully designed “eyes” and “Please uncover for use” instructions. As a member of the Green United Q robot series, the product maintains a consistent aesthetic design. The overall appearance of the product blends with popular toy display design to create a cool and adorable Q version robot appearance, which greatly enhances the product’s playability.
Zhirong SW3516P
Zhirong SW3516P is a highly integrated dual-port charging chip with fast charging protocol support, which supports A+C port arbitrary port fast charging output and independent current limiting for both ports. It integrates a 5A high-efficiency synchronous step-down converter, supports multiple fast charging protocols, including PPS, PD, QC, AFC, FCP, SCP, PE, SFCP, etc., with a maximum output of PD 100W in CC/CV mode and dual-port management logic. Additionally, Zhirong SW3516P supports a voltage input range of 6~36V, with features such as line loss compensation, temperature control, and built-in fast charging indicator driver function. It is packaged in QFN-28 (4x4mm) and supports multiple protection measures such as soft start, input overvoltage protection, input undervoltage protection, output overcurrent protection, output short circuit protection, and overtemperature protection. Zhirong SW3516P is suitable for applications such as car chargers, adapters, and power strips.
The buck chip used for the USB-C1 port is from Zhirong Technology with the model number SW3516P. It is a highly integrated dual-port charging chip with fast charging protocol support, which supports arbitrary port fast charging output from both A+C ports and independent current limiting for both ports. The parameters and specifications are identical to Zhirong SW3516H.
SW3516P integrates a 5A high-efficiency synchronous step-down converter and supports various fast charging protocols including PPS/PD/QC/AFC/FCP/SCP/PE/SFCP, with a maximum output of PD 100W in CC/CV mode and dual-port management logic. Few external components are required to form a complete high-performance dual-port charging solution with fast charging protocol support.
The buck chip used for the USB-C2 and USB-A ports is from Zhirong Technology with the model number SW3537. The chip internally integrates a 5A high-efficiency synchronous rectifier step-down converter and supports various charging protocols including PPS, PD, QC, AFC, FCP, SCP, PE, SFCP, low voltage direct charging, etc. It also supports CC/CV mode. With only a few external components required, a complete high-performance dual-port charging solution with fast charging protocol support can be formed.
Thanks to the high integration of the chip, SW3537 integrates the protocol chip, synchronous step-down controller, and step-down MOSFET all into one package, greatly simplifying the circuit design of multi-port fast charging. The chip supports A+C dual-port fast charging applications and has comprehensive protection functions.
